I just got the hiccups.... for the fifth time today...

In a few days, a UPS delivery will make me the proud owner of a pair of World Series Game 7 Thunder Sticks. I got them on Ebay for $6. I'm thinking about taking them to an MVNU basketball game :-)

Some things, like this, are just wrong.

I feel like I haven't stopped since last weekend! One thing after another here to there to somewhere else and back to there and then to here. I need some serious bumming around time this weekend but I don't know when that's going to be. I have articles to write for the paper, layouts to do for the yearbook, a road trip on saturday. I thought friday night was going to be free but something else may have come up.

Is it Christmas break yet?

Good times tonight, the Etiqutte Dinner was a lot of fun and very interesting.

If the weather isn't too bad, Alexis and I are taking a road trip either to Indy or Pittsburgh. Any places we should go in particular if we head to your town, Tiff?

Sigh... thought I had a free evening for once, but then I got reminded of two homework assignments I had to do for tomorrow. So I didn't get around to the only think I originally planned on doing tonight (the fun job of hanging posters around campus for four different things :-p) so I'll have to cram that in tomorrow afternoon.

Tomorrow night is the Etiqutte Dinner and Buisiness Style show that the place I work for is sponsoring so I get to go help with that. I've already made all the posters, tickets, invitations, and programs for it, so I hope I can just enjoy it tomorrow night. I know I have to take tickets, hopefully that's it.

I had an almost two hour phone conversation with a friend tonight, it was really cool. She's an awesome girl and I've been hoping to be able to strengthen our friendship and this certainly did it. It started out as a phone call that I was going to ask her one question, but we just kept talking. Like I said, it was cool.

Then I got to spend time with Alexis, unfortunatly it was spent doing homework, but we also had Notting Hill on and that movie is hilarious so it wasn't too bad. Alexis and I have spent quality time together four nights in a row (maybe more, I can't remember back to thursday). I think this is a record for this semester. It seems like one of us is always busy with something. This college thing is pretty hectic.

Well how about that for some random thoughts?

Got a group together to play Trivial Pursuit tonight.

It lasted five hours.

I'm not joking. We started at 7:30 and it went until 12:30. I never new a game could be that draining.

And on a side note, GO ANGELS! The Rally Monkey lives on!

I soon figured out the template I chose was the same as Abe's, so I went another direction.

as the more preceptive of you have noticed, I had blog issues. it kept saying it couldn't do my template so I chose a new one. and now I lost my archives for all but two weeks........ I dont get it. I'll try and work on this over the weekend.

I'm back from mid-term break. And that's exactly what it was, a break. I really didn't do anything at all. It was great.

Today was an emotional roller coaster.

I'm glad tomorrow is midterm break.

Got two tests today. Thought I bombed them both. Got a 96% and a 99%

Well the Angels are for real. I'm glad, too. I didn't want to see the Twins in the Series.

Unfortunately, the Cardinals are unofficially done. I really wanted to see them go all the way after all they've been through. Plus, if it's Anahiem vs. San Fran, all the games will be on the west coast and we won't get to watch it because all the games will be at like 10 at night.

If I lived in Montana, I'd vote for the blue guy.

What have I done today?

Got a start on my homework due Tuesday
Cleaned everything off and resorted and organized my desk and shelves
Cleaned out my closet
Moved all the furniture in the living room and swept everything, cleaned up all the random messes
Changed the water in my fish bowl
Washed all the dishes
Cleaned the kitchen counter and sink
Cleaned the microwave

I'll count this as a productive day.

It's been a long, long time since I've done one. But I just felt like doing one since I was bored. So here it is, a Friday Five.

Tonight was fun. I successfully organized a suprise party at Friendly's for Alexis' birthday including her apartment, my apartmentment, some other friends, her parents and grandparents, and my parents. It was a blast. I have a video of Chris trying to tie a cherry stem with his toungue. But tripod won't let me upload right now. (Actually it's about a 15 second video of a 15 minute tast, but he did get it tied.) Anyways, it was fun and she was suprised, therefore, my day was good!

I'm at that point in the cycle of a head cold where I just want to lie in bed and sleep or watch movies or something. What do I get to do today instead? Four classes, including two tests, and put the Sports pages of the newspaper together.

Wow, four upsets in the MLB playoffs. That's awesome. Well, except for the Twins over the A's. Cards Vs. Angels in the Series! (I hope I hope I hope)

Question for my readers who know about computers.

Windows Explorer isn't showing any files. They show in My Computer, but not Windows Explorer. I have show all hidden files selected, I don't know what's up. Any suggestions?

I'm sick. Not as sick as Tiff, though. I have cold. And last night I didn't sleep well at all. Why am I telling you this? Here's why, in my cold filled head I had a weird thought this morning. As I was laying in bed, feeling as though I couldn't move. For some reason I started thinking about as still as I stayed, my blood and everything was moving around inside of me. That was just really weird.

Like I said...I have a cold. They mess up your head.

And here it is, the weekend I've been dreading.

I was playing the coolest game ever (which I shall not reveal because I didn't heed the warning of how addicting it is and I dont' want to get get anyone else caught in the trap) and I had been playing for a long time. I went to do something on IM and it reloaded for some reason!! I lost my awesome score!! AHHHHH!!!

oh well, maybe now I'll get something done.

Tonight was a great night. It's the first fun softball game we've had this year.

The way it's set up, all the teams are in one league. The talent isn't split up. So we spent two weeks losing 20+ to 3 or something like that. This week, our schedule brought us teams more our talent level. Last night was looking to be fun, but just when we pulled ahead, one of our guys quit right then and there because he thought he was too good to play right field. But tonight was great. Our team knew almost everyone on the other team, we're all friends so it was good competition, and the game came down to the wire. It was good stuff. We play them again Thursday so hopefully we'll get the win then.

I had all summer when I couldn't come up with anything good to write. Now I keep getting ideas and don't have time to get them on paper.

I guess the brain needs conditioning, too.

Going to dinner tonight we found, to our suprise, Alexis' bike in the cafeteria lobby. She hasn't ridden it yet this year and the lock was still on the bike rack. MNVU's unsolved mysteries. Actually, I'm pretty sure it was a soccer or baseball player cause they are like that, but oh well.

I have a softball story to tell, but I don't have time right now. Maybe later.
